  1. 1. Learning is not always experienced inside classrooms. Another way of learning is through experience and we can say that most experiences do not end in a good way. Sometimes experiences need to show us that we committed mistakes in order to learn something. One good example is in sports. Physical sports require a lot of training and if we do not know the basics of the sport, we will just injure ourselves in doing the sport. We need to know the correct ways like stance, position and movement in order to prevent any injuries. And if we do the sport without proper learning, we will just hurt our self in the process.

2.As to what i can see, we are bringing schools closer to people because of the needs of jobs in and out of the country. We are educating people with the specialization of certain jobs for them to get work either here or in abroad.

  2. 1.One principle of learning is that "Sometimes learning is a painful process."
Cite an instance to this principle.

There are certain ways on how we can learn. There's reading books, attending classes and through experiences. By experience for example cooking and dancing. Painful process because there are times we will fail in what we do to learn the lesson. We exert all efforts and still fail. It hurts us to fail on the things we love to do but that only makes us stronger and learn better. Failures are part of the learning process. We just have to learn to accept it. =>

2 " . Education should bring the school closer to the people." In what ways is
this principle applied to our educational system?

Our educational system is being improved as much often as they can to ensure that we are still teaching what the people need today. We should educate people to the things they will and can use in their everyday life. For example is their preferred career. They need to learn things that will prepare them for the career they want to pursue. The school should be offering what the people need.

  4. 1.
Learning is not confine in the four corners of classrooms. It takes place anytime anywhere. When the learning gets tough, it becomes a painful process. The negative experiences taught us much meaningful lesson rather than the positive one.Through hardships, struggles, painful heartaches and problems we learn in a hard way. Sometimes we never learn unless we experience it ourselves and feel the pain itself.Certainly, we best learn our lesson through painful experiences.
    2. Through PTCA the educational system is bringing the school to the people. With this, parents and the community are getting involved for the betterment of the school and the community as well. The school is also conducting feeding programs and medical missions to the depressed area. Therefore, with the involvement of the school to this programs, the educational system becomes an integral part of the society.

  5. 1. I can interpret the principle “Sometimes learning is a painful process” in two ways. First, learning is painful because it does not only entail happy moments but it also involves time of disappointment, time of hardship, time of exhaustion. Second, learning happens in an environment that mimics reality, and the reality is that we are surrounded by many difficulties but while we overcome it, we learn.

One simple instance in learning where learning can be painful inside the classroom is when you get a low grade in a subject or test that you worked hard for. But through this, one learns that your effort is not enough to succeed.

Other instance where learning can be painful is during an experiment where you can break something or smell something disgusting. In physical education, you can also experience some discomfort such as being tired, or having sprain for running or jumping. But all these help an individual to learn how to do things right and why we need to do things right.

    2. The principle "Education should bring the school closer to the people" can be applied to our present educational system in three ways: first, we have to promote the importance of learning in the life of every people and make education totally free and accessible for all ; second, the people should see that the school environment is a conducive and safe place to learn – with good and caring teachers, modern facilities, adequate supplies and healthy food in the canteen which hopefully will also be free for them ; third, is by creating a bridge between what is learned inside the school and echoing this learning to the household to the parents so that learning can be re-enforced. Examples of this echoing of learning are the different practices learned in school which should be practiced and encouraged at home such as health practices, environmental practices, values and skills.

Cite an instance to this principle.
Learning is a success. We can’t have success in life if we didn’t go through different challenges in life. It’s like learning, we can’t learn a thing with just a snap of our hand, we need to go through the process of learning to be able to effectively absorb the learning.
2 " . Education should bring the school closer to the people." In what ways is
this principle applied to our educational system?
The phrase can be seen on secluded area of the Philippines. where gaining education can be seen outside the school. Like the famous “kariton school”. Education is not enclosed to the four sides of the classroom, we can learn even outside the school. We educators could bring education closer to the people even without the use of a two-storey building school. Even the floor can be our school. It’s the willingness and the passion of the teacher is the essence of education.

Every student is unique. They have different characteristics, behavior, culture, etc. The learning became a painful process because every student must strive hard in order to learn. For example, an infant must learn how to stand first to be able to learn how to walk. The baby may encounter falls but at the end this baby will learn. It maybe a painful process but we must do something to learn something. We also learn from our mistakes. Learning takes place not only in the classroom but also in the community.

Education is very essential in our lives. So the schools think possible ways how we can be educated and how the school be closer to the people. As we can see, there are many numbers of schools in every barangay. The schools should be easily accessible to the people. The parents are being orient in the school, that the parents should have coordination with the school. That every parent’s role is to educate their child at home, by these it provide quality time with their child. There are some programs that the school offered to the students who are working. Like in the TCP, we have an online discussion because most students can’t be able to go to school in weekdays because of their jobs.

  13. 1.One principle of learning is that "Sometimes learning is a painful process."

Cite an instance to this principle.

I believe that this principle is true. An example would be the bad experience in life. We have to experience problems and struggles for us to learn. The lessons we learned in school are not enough. A personal experience of mine is falling in love. Falling in love is not learned in school. It is something that just happens to everybody. In my case, I fell in love with the wrong guy. This guy cheated me and yet I still love him. The lesson there is to really know a person before you fall for him/her. Don't be blind when it comes to love.

2 " . Education should bring the school closer to the people." In what ways is
this principle applied to our educational system?

Education should be available to all people regardless if they're rich or poor. From what I see here in the Philippines, the rich people receives good education because they are the ones who can afford to study in a decent school. Some students in the public school may learn but the facilities are not that good. The classrooms in the public school can not accommodate the number of students. So there's a higher chance that students in private schools receive better education than the students in public school.

  14. 1. “Sometimes learning is a painful process.” This statement doesn’t necessarily enclose learning in a classroom. It applies to life. Sometimes when we do not heed the advice of people older than us, we learn things the hard way. At other times, some things don’t go the way we mapped it out in our head and we just don’t know how much we can give but in the end, we muster it up from somewhere within. An example of that would be during thesis time. You spill out all that you have in your head trying to figure out how to write the paper in the first place but also write something with substance at the same time. When it comes to reviewing the paper, your professor points out a lot of elements that are missing or not explained well. You spend sleepless days just trying to finish it hours before your defense schedule. As painful as it is to keep up and catch up with your body clock, eating habits etc, you have to finish all your work, revise and defend well in order to pass the subject and graduate.

    2. “Education should bring the school closer to the people.” This principle is applied to our educational system since education is improving each year for a higher competent standard which is also important since each batch of students produced would have a more competent edge than their successors. It raises the level of the country to another notch since jobs are a lot more demanding. Education is molded to what the country needs but at the same time to the interests of the individual. Newer courses are coming up to cater to a specific type of job thus making specialization a plus factor.

  15. 1. “Sometimes learning is a painful process.”
In this technologically accelerated times, teachers are being asked to master new skills and responsibilities as both as individuals and collaborators. It isn’t easy and it takes extra time, in a tightly packed schedule that barely allows breathing room.

School reform and standard-based instructions have raised expectations for students such that they have to keep up with the changes, too.

    2. “Education should bring the school closer to the people.”
Education should be relevant. Changes have taken place in many aspects of life: new diseases, technological advancement, environmental degradation; global terrorism, demographic changes and new political alliances, etc. The educational system should be responsive to these changes while it tries to keep those values and traditions deemed necessary for proper education. Parents, teachers and the community should participate in a number of ways to make the school the center of activities to promote economic self-sufficiency, health, peace and security, good citizenship and tolerance and respect across cultural differences. In school, computer education should be added in the curriculum and continually teach English as a subject but not to forget our own language, too.
